I had a very disappointing experience with the staff here. The male staff member handling my case took almost two hours just to update my account, constantly interrupting the process to take calls and assist other customers while I was waiting right in front of him. It seems there’s no proper SOP to ensure customers receive full attention. What shocked me most was his unprofessional behavior — he even mocked my home address, saying my previous one was a “slump place.” Such remarks are completely unacceptable. Overall, it was a terrible and unexpected experience.

Great service by Ms Sukvinder, Cik Zaharah and Ms Chong Kar Wai.

I'd have given a higher rating for the branch if had they beefed up their teller services on the first floor. Since Kampar is a town where a lot of people (especially the elderly) need physical banking, more counters should be open to cater for the high number of customers. Despite getting a priority number, I still had to wait about 40 minutes for my turn.

Even if there's a lack of staff, appreciate if the branch could escalate this matter to the HQ and do something to improve the services so that customers would be happier to maintain their investment with Maybank.

1. Most of them are slow, and I’m not sure whether this is normal for a bank.
2. My debit card was hacked, and RM900 was spent without my consent. I had to come to this branch to make a report and request a refund. The male staff member who served me told me to file a police report before I could apply for a refund. However, when I went there a second time with the police report, another staff member who served me did not ask for it. Therefore, I can say that the first staff member I met was very unprofessional and acted with bad intention.

One of the staff behaves arrogantly and harshly (maybe moody), doesn’t know how to speak politely and respectfully. If you’re moody, don’t come to work.

I came at 940am on Thursday, 7 counters open but only 2 is attending to customer. The rest are playing phones or talk to one another. Terrible stuff terrible service.
