Reflecting on my daughter’s admission in March 2025, I am truly grateful for the invaluable customer service team that responds swiftly to all questions and concerns. Dr. Jamuna’s attentiveness and punctuality in treating my daughter in the ER, ward, and clinic exemplify her dedication. She truly is the best doctor ever!

Also, thank you, KPJ Klang, for the excellent care during my stay from July 4th to July 12th, 2025. The support and kindness I received were exceptional.

Huge thanks to Dr. Thi Ha Htun (Urologist) and Dr. Anil (Gastrologist)! They are brilliant at what they do, patiently explaining everything and ensuring I was comfortable. Also, a big thank you to Su, Dr. Thi Ha Htun's clinic assistant, for her efficient help, and to the Anesthesiologist (whose name I've unfortunately forgotten) for keeping me safe and comfortable during my procedures.

The excellent service wasn't just from the doctors. Mimi and Ira from customer service was super helpful and made all the paperwork easy.

The nurses in the surgical ward were amazing. Their constant care and skill created a calming and healing space. I especially want to thank Najihah, Nadirah, Farah, Nur Khairunnisa, and Izani. Even the student nurses were doing a great job.

Overall, my time at KPJ Klang was positive. I would recommend KPJ Klang to anyone needing medical help.

I rated KPJ 5 stars as I found the hospital excellent in all aspects from the doctors (thank you, Dr. Vijay and team), the staff, pharmacy department, and nurses. The facilities are clean, and the environment is truly awesome.

This is actually a follow-up to my first review a month ago (as per above). After I was discharged, my communication continued with the Medical Records Department, and I just want to commend how efficient and accommodating they’ve been in handling my requests. I’ve forgotten the name of the staff who assisted me when I visited, but if the person replying to my emails is the same, his name is Yazid. Staff like him truly deserve recognition for their dedication and kindness. He’s definitely an asset to the hospital, very professional, patient, and genuinely knows how to deal with people well.

And of course, I have to mention one of my favourite doctors, Dr. Vijay Vadiveloo. I can’t express enough how grateful we are to have met such a straightforward, calm, and compassionate doctor. He handled my case with so much care and confidence that I never felt worried. He’s approachable, sincere, and someone you can truly trust.

This review may be a bit late, but I just want to share my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our first experience at KPJ such a wonderful and memorable one.

Not the private hospital experience I expected.
My recent experience here left much to be desired. When I inquired about the discharge process, one of the nurses responded with clear aggression and raised her voice—not just according to me, but even her colleague acknowledged it. Yet when I called her out, she quickly switched to a theatrically polite tone, which honestly fooled no one. That sudden change only confirmed she knew she was in the wrong.

It felt more like a government hospital environment—where empathy takes a backseat—rather than a private facility where service and professionalism should come standard. For the price we're paying, basic respect shouldn't be optional.

The insurance and discharge flow was painfully slow and inefficient. Despite offering to settle the bill early so my mom could rest, there was still unnecessary delay—medication wasn't prepared even after payment was made. It gave the impression of distrust and poor coordination among staff.

The whole environment lacked warmth, empathy, and professionalism. For a place that should be centered around care and healing, the experience felt cold, bureaucratic, and borderline hostile.

Would I recommend this hospital? Honestly, no.

KPJ Klang Specialist Hospital in Klang Selangor. It's a big facility for healthcare in Klang. Several medical departments with separate sections and hierarchy from specialist doctors to general physicians, nurses to operation theater assistants. Management staff to reception, accounts and finance to procurement and supply chain. More of a full fledged hospital offering health care facilities with ease and convenience.
