HSBC should hire or assign qualified staff for home loan inquiry.
Recently I came to make a full settlement, an Indian guy who I assigned to. I clearly explain that I want to make a full settlement yet that idiotic guy wasted, very arrogant and wrongly make redemption and wasted. Today HSBC Bworth done a good job for me.
Poor knowledge explanation of the customer request!!!

Waited almost 1 hour. Only 3 persons ahead of me. New user to HSBC. Will consider to cancel for such slow service. All counters seems open but there are 3 staffs walk away at 11 am Monday. Still waiting after post this.

Edit of my review 18months later: Slow. Walked in to open an account. No availability (fine) and told to come back another day.
Booked and appointment and came back. Long wait after my appointment. They gave no information about what documents to bring, luckily we were prepared.
Went to collect the card. Was told I can just walk in and collect, but it's another long wait before we're seen. I count 11 bank office staff but only 2 are actually dealing with any customers...counter staff are just sitting around because they're not authorised for some tasks...

This is not the problem of the staff, but of management. Train up some of the counter staff to do minor tasks (greeting, bringing a cup of water, saying how long the wait is, checking appointments...) decrease processing time by using one counter staff as a runner for photocopies etc, train up a counter staff to customer service.
On a separate note, no water or toilet available.

Previous review: Just lovely. Went to open an account. Served almost immediately by R(Counter 8) but transferred to S(Counter 6). Very professional, polite and courteous. Good, clear English. All done in about 90mins (which is good time- I have some experience). Friendly security, clean, cool and peaceful building.

Just apply EPF statement need to walk in 3 times for enquiry, bad management and useless. Never serve customer in priority, waste customer time. No point to use this branch.
