I visited the HL Assurance office at Greentown, Ipoh, on 10/2/2025 at around 1:30 PM. A lady officer assisted me in registering for HLA360 and informed me that I would receive an SMS by 11/2/2025 to log in. She also gave me an instruction slip.

However, I never received the SMS. I still attempted to log in using the website address provided, but a TAC number was required to proceed. That was when I realized the officer had entered my mobile number incorrectly during registration.

I tried calling the office multiple times at 05-241 8064, but no one answered. I also attempted to register using a different email, but it was unsuccessful. Since there’s no self-help option, I now have to visit the branch again for a simple correction.

My advice: Please ensure accuracy in your work to avoid wasting customers’ time.

Yesterday I went to HLB for FD purpose. A lady came and asked me what I'm going to do, I told her that I want to redeposit my FD. Then she told me got one saving with good interest return. During our conversation, she purposely not to let me know tat is an insurance, she was trying to confuse me and make me think that it is like FD. So, I signed it. After came back office, I checked the photo which I had captured in HLB and realized this is insurance indeed. So, within an hour I went back HLB to cancelled it. But, she said money refund takes 2 to 3 weeks time. Why the procedur need so long time ? Will I get back full amount ?
